Cat Blogging

It’s taken me 4+ years, but I’ve finally sunk to employing the cat-blogging meme. But I can’t resist posting these photos of our cat Rico ensconced in his summer hideout under the Japanese maple (click to enlarge):

We’re at the airport waiting for our flight to Medford, OR.  We see two plays today - Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard and William Saroyan’s Tracy’s Tiger.  More when I alight somewhere in Oregon.

  1. Our kitty cat likes to hide under the Japanese maple too. He watches the birds at the feeder from there. It’s also nice and shady, and he likes that too.

Enjoy the plays. Looking forward to hearing about your week in Ashland. Enjoy!

  2. I am annually jealous!

  3. Can’t fault you for succumbing, those are beautiful dpics; a noble feline. Our cats are not really cats; two of them are pigs in cat suits, one is a weasel on stilts–not very photogenic.

  4. Phil:

Doc, that’s a riot. Our cat looks so fierce, but he’s the embodiment of the concept of “pussy”. Just a big softie.

THanks, Robin and Kathy. I’ll post about Ashland anon.

  5. Hey Phil, cat blogging isn’t all bad. I’ve just done a whole bunch of it myself, what with a teeny new kitten in my house. If you want to see a great series of photos, check out my place! Our kitten saved us from certain doom at the hands of a deer, and I caught it on film.

    Happy Ashland vacation!
