BTW, yes, we are indeed misfits in our neighborhood. We have art bead curtains in our windows and are again going to change our front/backyard in Spring. Mostly native grasses and nothing to mow, although a neighbor does the strip that remains street side.

Nothing like turning a few heads about not wanting to mow or water grass, eh??????</description>

I don't know quite what it is, but I found the photos and the place and even the guy outside particularly appealing.   I'm sure your mention of sushi had something to do with it, as it set the tone...sushi is my happy thing.  But it was more than that.   I think your capturing the guy outside made the second photo so incredibly real.  Nice work!</description>
