I don’t really follow the Seahawks that closely, but I’m thinking that this year, their opponent’s speedrusher is going to be my favorite player each week.

  1. Boo, hiss! for the Seahawks. Considering that the only football that is ever watched in our household is Patriots games, I’ll be able to contribute to your plan only in spirit. (I think. I imagine the Seahawks don’t play the Patriots, do they? [I’m such a football noob.])

  2. I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing.

  3. I would personally like to do whatever is necessary to get the back of #43’s jersey dirty.

Yup–that’s sort of the last straw. These guys have NOOO pride

  6. A great letter to the editor in the Sunday Everett Herald this morning about this whole thing.

The letter points out that this was a republican political event—not a generic appearance by the pres doing pres things in Seattle. As such, this was completely inappropriate for the Seahawks to allow this. They can be forgiven, however, if they show up at an event for Darcy Burner and give former President Clinton a jersey, too.

What if all of the Democrats in Seattle decided to not support the Seahawks? Would there be anyone at the games?

  7. Mack Strong practices yoga so he possesses equanimity.
